¿Puedo llamar y hablar con un médico para pedir consejo?
Si necesita hablar con su médico de cabecera, la recepcionista de turno tomará su mensaje y los detalles de contacto y su llamada será devuelta lo más rápido posible. No podemos especificar el horario para que el médico lo llame, ya que esto depende de la carga de trabajo diaria del médico: cuando está muy ocupado, pueden pasar de 24 a 48 horas antes de que se devuelva una llamada de rutina (no urgente).
Si el consejo que necesita es urgente, dígaselo a la recepcionista para que pueda hablar con el médico lo antes posible.
¿Cómo obtengo un resultado de prueba?
Si se le realizan pruebas en la cirugía o si lo remiten al hospital para una prueba, es ESENCIAL que llame a su médico para obtener los resultados dentro de los 7 a 10 días de la intervención.
La mayoría de las devoluciones de llamadas se realizarán durante el período del almuerzo o directamente después de que finalice la cirugía al final de la tarde / noche. Puede comunicarse con nuestra enfermera de práctica los lunes, miércoles y viernes de 2:00 a 2:30 pm para obtener los resultados de los análisis de sangre / muestras de orina o hisopos.
Tenga en cuenta que el personal de Recepción y Administración NO ESTÁ PERMITIDO para entregar los resultados de las pruebas a los pacientes, a menos que un médico lo indique específicamente.
